1. Attendance

   1. Jeffrey Haines - Principal

2. QIP - Year 2

   1. More work with culturally responsive teaching. Some of this is done by the SEL team and ILT teams who will be looking at data. We invited people to be part of those teams. The first ILT meeting occurred today. The first SEL meeting is Wednesday. A big part of this work is looking at HALS data. Mr. Haines appreciates those that were able to participate. He’s looking to include more parents in the school and the ways they can accomplish this. This will be discussed on Wednesday at the SEL meeting.

   2. HALS data

      1. School culture is trending back up and how we scored in regards to treating students from other countries with respect is also trending up according to the data.

   3. Collaboration

      1. PD days have been spent on ARC training, PDs for specialists through their perspective groups,  MLL teachers meet monthly.

      2. HALS data regarding this ebbs and flows. It is trending up again. 

   4. Walk-Throughs/Peer Observations

      1. Jeff, Diane and Cate will be talking with Fatima regarding this process. The union has concerns that people may feel forced to do this and Mr. Haines wants to make sure that everyone knows it is voluntary and non-evaluative.

   5. TCI and TAT Process

      1. Continuing this process in X2

   6. Data Review

      1. Looking at this during CPTs. Will be looking at DESSA data soon for social emotion support. Will continue to use EDCAT data. 

   7. Goal 5

      1. Will be further embedding Second Step. The district is moving away from Second Step. Our school is looking to continue to use this, but some staff are using other social emotional learning tools (Wayfinder or Zones of Regulation).

      2. Our social worker is making calls for attendance. Jeff, Krista and the district will be meeting regarding attendance in November.
