Qualifications: M. Ed. in Early Childhood Education. Certified in the state of Massachusetts to teach ECE PreK-2 and Special Education K-12. Holds endorsements in the state of Massachusetts for Autism and SEL. Specialized certifications in L.I.P.S., EmPower, Project Read, and Orton-Gillingham.
Ms. Reidt
Ms. Reidt is the integrated Pre-Kindergarten teacher at the Washington School. She has been the PreK teacher since 2023. Born in Lowell, she joined Lowell public schools in 2013 as a special education teacher. Previously, she worked as a SpEd teacher in the town of Reading. Prior to public school teaching, she was the director of the ECC laboratory school at Rivier College, now Rivier University in Nashua, NH. Prior to that she worked at both Head Start and Early Intervention in Lawrence, MA, where her career began as a first-grade teacher at the former St. Augustin school. Educated in the city, she attended St. Michael School and nearby Lowell Catholic High School. She received her bachelors degree in Human Development and masters in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in parenting, both from Rivier University. Now residing outside of the city, when she is not at school, Ms. Reidt enjoys many hobbies including: reading, gardening, sewing, and cooking. She also enjoys traveling around the US as well as to other countries or to local beaches of the NH seacoast and Lake Winnipesaukee.
