Grade 1

Welcome to our First Grade Classes! There are two teachers in the First Grade. They are Mrs. Brady and Ms. Bonin! 

In First Grade, students strengthen their vocabulary, learn new reading strategies to help comprehend grade level texts, and practice writing for different purposes! First graders also deepen their understanding of Math, Science and Social Studies. First Grade is a year of important transitions as well. We help foster independence while developing deeper academic skills through exploration and practice. 

Mrs. Brady and Ms. Bonin are assisted by Mrs. Karen and Mrs. Janitza.
